Levels of Understanding

 

ABACUS’s distinctive Interactive solution-building process involves interaction with all layers of the organization thereby getting people buy-in from the start and ensuring knowledge transfer focusing on delivering sustainable and effective Change instead of one-time gains. ABACUS has developed many tools specifically tailored to creating levels of understanding through the Change transformation.

Communication Management

 

Key Alignment Meeting (KAM)

The KAM is focused on reporting to the Leadership team involved in the program, on a complete week-to-week program status report, focusing on key deliverables by schedule milestone.

 

Continuous Improvement Program (C.I.P.)

 

To drive understanding / behavior and usage of the New Process and System, key elements that support business objectives and the key performance indicators (lead and lag) will be monitored in terms of compliance by the users. During the Execution phase of the New Process and System, the Continuous Improvement Program or CIP tool will be applied with high intensity; the frequency of the audit is expected to fall as confidence with the New Process and System grows among the users and compliance is sustained at a high level. The CIP tool monitors compliance on an individual basis and probes into the reasons or causes of non- or poor compliance so that corrective actions may be instituted by the concerned managers and supervisors to drive up the compliance scores during the next round of the audit process.

 

The Continuous Improvement Program is initially headed by the Abacus team during the Change Program, during the Dry Run phase. An internal team however will have to take over the audit process to be able to review compliance past the Abacus engagement period. The client’’s internal team is trained by Abacus to manage the CIP tool and modify it as well as the Process and System through time.
